The original title of the book written by Sara Gruen is “Water for Elephants” however there is some debate that it might get changed to “Circus” for the film. Certainly the title “Circus” is not very original; I personally feel that leaving the title as it is in the book is the right way forward. Time will tell and nearer the time of filming we should know something definite about what has been decided.

I’m taking this blog very seriously and unless I find confirmation of something, I am not posting. I want this to be for those who really love the story and hopefully the film, so there will be no “hot news” no speculation and it will be dedicated 100% to Water for Elephants. However there will be spoilers so if you have not read the book and don’t want spoilers, then please don’t read this blog.

The Benzini Brothers arrive in Chattanooga

Good morning Water for Elephant fans, the day has started early for the cast and crew of Water for Elephants. The film crew started their day with breakfast around 6:30 a.m. and began shooting soon after 7:00 a.m. The Benzini Brothers train has been created, the crew have everything set up,

Rob Pattinson has been spotted or so they think? Is that Rob or not? And many fans are up with the lark ready to see their favourite actors. Channel 3 Eyewitness News was the only television crew on scene as Pattinson walked around in a hoodie, or so they say.

Robert is said to be filming the opening and closing scenes and he may only be there for one day, although there is a possibility his stay may continue into Saturday. The train museum is said to be closed until Tuesday, but I am sure that this won’t distract the fans from trying to get a peek at the filming.

West Cove Road is now blocked. Security is tight around the movie set. The fans were asked to go back to their vehicles, at about 6.30 this morning, it was just a precautionary thing, with no other incidence.

I’ll be updating as the day goes on.
Thanks to Tess O’Malley for tweetering some of her pictures, please keep sending them in.

The other great news is, we now seem to have a date for the release in theaters of Water for Elephants, which is said to be on the 15th of April, 2011.

In the picture with the officers vehicle stating that dozens of young females were removed from the area due to being to close. That picture does not apply. In that picture is myself and coworker which are both part of the media. No one was removed just asked to go back to their vehicles. at about 6.30 this morning, it was just a precautionary thing. Thanks.
