Cannes Film festival is a fashion and Beauty Galore . I'm always on the look out for the best dresses . L'Oreal Paris Brand ambassadors / spokesperson Aishwarya Rai walks the Red carpet every year along with Sonam Kapoor , Frieda Pinto at the Cannes Film Festival . There were allot of bitter talks regarding Aishwaria Rai Cannes 2013 Look , but seems like she redeemed herself . Although in my eyes she is a true Indian Beauty .

Aishwaria Rai wore a Roberto Cavalli Gold and Silver Gown for the Cannes film festival 2014 . It was a gorgeous Fish cut , floor length gown with a small elegant trail . She paired it with Minimal accessories and Bold lips . Aishwaria Rai's was rocking the mermaid curls , which complimented her whole ethereal goddess look .

I created a 10 step process to get the Aishwaria Rai Cannes Film Festival 2014 look / Makeup Breakdown according to me .

Prime your face with Moisturiser or Primer , for your makeup to last all night and create a seamless base for your foundation .

1.Aishwarya Rai's foundation looks full coverage yet photo friendly . I choose the L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation as it has a matt finish , yet looks very natural . If you have dry skin you can go for the L'Oreal Paris Matte Morphose Foundation , which has High coverage and less spf . Both of these Foundations blend amazing and provide a velvety base . Blend the foundation with the Real techniques Buffing brush for a natural finish .

2.If you have Oily to Combination skin , I would recommend to set your makeup with a Matte Pressed Powder . The L'Oreal true match pressed Powder is an amazing option . Aishwarya Rai skin does look glowy but not greasy .

3. Aishwarya Rai had a mild contour going on . As I have said previously , a little bit of contour can make the major difference in photographs , especially at the Cannes where your going to be photographed from every angle .I would recommend the Bourjois Paris chocolate Bronzer for a matte look , or the Bourjois Paris Blush in Amber D'Or for a more summery glow .

4.She had a Rosy-peachy Blush that gave her the perfect youthful flush in her skin . I found the Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in fresh coral.Blend it with a fluffy brush for a more natural look.

5.After removing excess shine . Its time to use some Highlighter on the top points of your face ,places that naturally catch the light . Aishwarya Rai's makeup look youthful , with precise highlighting . The Benefit High Beam is a Natural highlighter , which leaves your skin with the perfect sheen and glow . Apply it to the tops of your cheeks , down the bridge of your nose to get that Aishwarya Rai glowy youthful 2014 Cannes look.

6. Aishwarya Rai for the Cannes 2014 had some bold brows going on . Even though they had a natural shape , they were filled-in pretty heavily . I would recommend Mac Charcoal Browns for brunettes . Use the Real Techniques Angle Brush for precise application .

7. It looked like she dint have much going on her lids . It looks from the pictures like she had a white gold eye-shadow throughout her lid and and in the inner corner . It is hard to see because all the pictures her eyes are open . Apply it evenly with the help of a fluffy brush and blend it till the brows .The Gold also emphasized the blue in her eyes

8. Aishwarya Rai's eyes are the most dominant feature . To accentuate her almond shape eyes . It was a perfect cat eye , with a small flick . Nothing too dramatic . The Mac Gel eye-liner in Blacktrack is perfect and Long lasting .Use a precise Eyeliner brush like the Real techniques eyeliner Brush , take your time to create the perfect wing .

9.She had a little bit of Kohl in her top and bottom water Line .The L'Oreal Paris Kajal Magique is a perfect gel based liner which will not budge. Just to add some definition .Finish off your eyes with some dramatic lashes and Mascara . Loads of it on your top and Bottom lashes.

10. The lips where the talk of the town , Aishwarya Rai 2014 cannes look will be know for that bold lip . It was a orangish toned Red lipstick .It was Matte but had a bit of shine which caught the light . I would got for Rimmel London Kate Moss Liptick in 01 .

L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse -07 Cheeky Magenta Review and Swatches

Product Description:

My Take !

The L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse range is based around the concept of a high shine , light weight formula , perfect for spring and summer . They are Different when compared to the L'Oreal Paris shine Caresse , these are more pigmented and less glossy . They do last long and leave a pretty stain .

The packaging of the L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse is very standard , but again truly I appreciate L'Oreal for the transparent packaging . This enables the buyer to see the true colour when compare to the generic color swatch on the top / bottom of the Product.

When you initially apply the lip colour , it does feel very moisturising . Like the L'Oreal Paris shine Caresse , you do have to build them up , but the L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse in two coats shoes its true color . The Rouge Caresse lipsticks are highly pigmented , but at the same time they can be blended to add a stained lip effect . The L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse lip colours is very long lasting , and I would say will last you at least 4 to 5 hours without touch up .

One coat

The L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse shade 07 Cheeky magenta is the perfect flirty fuchsia Pink . I love this shade , it reminds my of Mac Show Orchid or Girl about town , with ten times more moisturising power. Obviously for half the price .These shades suit Indian complexion and complement the warm tones in our skin . I would pair it with a Gold Light smokey Eye .

The L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse are pretty affordable for the quality of product you get . I Have herd they are compared to the Revlon Lip butters , but trust me these are ten times more pigmented . Also they leave a beautiful sheen , rather than chunky glitter .

My Take !

Since ItsJudyTime did a review on the L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Colors I was wanting to try them and finally I got my hands on them . The L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse are marketed as light weight , high shine long lasting lip colors . They are considered a cheaper dupe of Ysl Lip Stains . With ten times more color range . L'oreal Paris do an amazing job at creating wide color selection for their products .

The first thing that caught my attention was the Lovely luxurious looking package . L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse come in a sleek gold packaging , with a clear window were you can see the true color . They have a sort of oval shape doe-foot applicator , which makes it very easy for application .

The L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse have a strong perfumed smell . It is a heavy Floral smell that does not cling on till a long time , which is good . Im not a big fan of scented lip Products anyway.

L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse in shade 603 Milady is a blueish toned pink .Suitable for all skin tones.Blue toned pink makes you teeth look whiter . These Lip colors do have to be applied 2 to 3 times to show its full color intensity . I like this option , because if you want to go sheer for day-time you can and layer it in the afternoon or night to give the full effect . Although My tip is to wait till the first layer dries , or else it will not stain your lips . It doesn't feel wet when you initially , but dries up in 15 sec.

L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse -603 Milady is perfect for summer and spring , as it comes in the pastel range which are in this season . Also their Formula is very light and Hydrating at the same time , suitable for the hot summer evening . In terms of long lasting , the L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse stay strong for a good 6 to 8 hours if you don't eat greasy or oily food . It does tend to wear off in the corners of your lips .

All in all I find them amazing .L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse is Worth every penny . I love the packaging as I'm a sucker for sleek looking Lip Products . Also its compact and can fit anywhere . Also the lasting power of the L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse are great .Its not sticky or overly oily .

I posted a Picture on my Purse on Instagram and got some comments to do a whats in my Bag post ? I personally love watching such videos , as I'm a Hand bag junkie so it feeds my weakness. The lovely bag I'm using at the moment was purchased a while back. This bag is very special to me as I bought it from my first salary .Although I have been using it since 3 months .

This beautiful Bag is from Charles and Keith . It is called the Classic Satchel - Black . I guess they are still available although the Black is out of stock . It is the perfect side body / Sling bag for me . I'm a massive fan of small Purses / hand bags , as it caters to all my needs .It has a adjustable shoulder strap .

This satchel Bag from charles and keith has two Compartments .The large compartment has a side zipper . The Flap closes with the help of a magnetic clasp , which is so convenient to me . The Bag is made with PU leather also known as poly synthetic leather which is man made leather .

I didn't clean up my bag , before I took pictures , I keep my bag pretty tidy and clear up the junk everyday .

The first small compartment contains mostly makeup . I have the Viviana Compact Face pressed Powder , Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer , Maybelline Colossal Kohl in Turquoise , Avene re-balancing Soothing Emulsion , Mikiyajy Perfume Atomizer ( Trussadi Inside) , and a Pen .

The main compartment holds this lovely junk . My sanitiser , Real techniques Compact Face brush , Maybelline Lip Polish , Revlon Lip Butter , the Body shop Lip Butter in Cherry , Deborah Milano Euphoric shine lip gloss , cheap sunglasses from Max ,Paris Hilton wallet , and a ID Holder which my dad got from Istanbul .My keys and cell phone also live in this section with some tissues .

Inside my side zipper I have some bits and bobs .I have a Mirrors that I use since I was in school , a Dreams Unlimited Perfume sample , and some safety Pins . I also can live without a Nail filer , in case I gt a chip nail.

I do keep my cell and headphones with me but they live in my hand or my gym bag for the most part . I also keep all my receipts in my wallet , hence no junk . Neither do my jewelry deserve to live in the bottom of my purse because they are so precious .I can come to terms that I don't need these many Lip products in my life , I can do with one . People do find it weird that I carry coloured eyeliner with me . The fact is that I hate black eyeliner at the moment and Instead I use a coloured liner to give me that fun pop I need to brighten up my look .

There is no denial that the sun has fallen in love with the world and once again we come closer to one another to form another bond of either love or hatred . I absolutely despise summer especially being in India and the Middle east my entire life I have gotten an overload of the yellow bright Sun.

Anyway Summer for me does call out for parties , get-together , spending times with friends and family . Also includes summery wedding and outside barbeque's .So I have bravely managed to narrow down my summer favorite lipsticks to my top ten even though it was really really hard .

Coral Pink by Maybelline :

The Maybelline Color sensational Lipsticks are so creamy, smooth, shiny and moisturising. One of my all-time favourite lipsticks . The Maybelline Color sensational Lipsticks are perfect because they are so hyderating and look fabulous against the suns rays , giving you that subtle glow . PremRose by Revlon :

Again another hight- street / Drugstore Product by Revlon to give you that summer look . Pinks are all year round in trend but pastel pinks have been a big huge summer trend .I have been seeing those light pink lips on the runways for summer 2014 fashion shows. Premrose by Revlon is a perfect bluish toned pink suitable for lighter complexions . Crosswires by Mac :

Crosswires is a Cremesheen formulae lipstick by mac cosmetics .If you want to find a orange shade lipstick that is not to bold , more wearable and find one that stays put all day long this is definitely the one for you ! Crosswires by Mac is no very orangy , but definitely is more orange that Coral pink by Maybelline. It smells like vanilla and to be honest everyone knows how pigmented Mac lipsticks are .For more info and full review -HERE

Rouge Volupte Shine Shade 12 - Yves Saint Laurent

If you want to look super Victoria Secret summer models type then the Ysl rouge Volupte shine in incandescent orange / shade 12 my friends will make you feel like that . It is super light reflecting , and glamorous . Ysl lipstick in shade 12 is more of a reddish coral . More red than orange . It has subtle sparkles leaving your lips with a high shine glossy effect .Don't get fooled , these have a super staying power of a normal lipstick . I love the stain it leaves your lips with. Primadonna Pink By Mikyajy

I love those bold fun fusia colors , according to me summer is all about the fun colours . Mikyajy's 22k celestial metallic finish lipstick in primedonna Pink is a bluish pink Fuchsia colour , crazily pigmented . It has a metallic finish , perfect for that summery shine . Mikyajy Lipsticks are immensely moisturising and last a really long time . Summer is all about long lasting lipsticks for me and this definitely makes the cut . Sorbet Melon by Mikyajy :

They are allot of girls out there who don't like to wear corals and pinks , this is definitely one for you ! . Mikyajy 22k charming matte lipstick in Sorbet Melon is a neutral Orangish shade . I know I like to wear neutrals all year long and even in summer , especially when you have allot going on in your outfit , its good to keep your makeup muted. Again as mentioned Mikyajy Lipsticks are crazily pigmented and last really long . Revlon Lip Butters :

I take these revlon lipbutters everywhere with me because it’s as nourishing as a lip balm, but works with the chemistry of your lips to create the perfect, natural pink , coral , nude shades . I adore this product! Everyone and their mothers have raved about the revlon lip butter product . For people who like a sheerer tint and a more glossy effect . This would be lovely .

Cotton Candy by Revlon and Pink Parfait are my favourite lipbutter to wear in the summer . They are more on the pinky tone . They have a subtle shimmer which is so pretty .

Creme Brulee is again for those who dont like to rock much color on the lips . It is my all time favourite neutral lips shade year long .

Pink truffle lip butter by revlon is more of a pigmented shade when compared to the others according to me . It has more colour pay off . It has less sparkle . Pink Truffle is a nudy neutral shade , would look lovely on darker complexion girls .
