Bernd Brandes (Germany – 2001)

Brandes was voluntarily stabbed and partly eaten by Armin Meiwes. Whom he met online for this purpose. He explicitly stated in his will that he wished to be killed and eaten.

Michael Colombini (USA – 2001)

The 6-year-old boy was struck and killed at a hospital by an oxygen tank. He had begun to experience breathing difficulties while in the MRI and when the portable oxygen canister was brought into the magnetic field, it was pulled and struck the boy in the head.

Brian Wells (USA – 2003)

After robbing a bank. Wells was killed when a bomb fastened around his neck exploded. In 2008, it was confirmed that Wells was involved in the robbery without knowing that an actual bomb would be used.
